No final dos 80 ínicio dos 90 e em diante muitas bandas( à exemplo de algumas outras como The Chameleons e Echo and the Bunnymen que já haviam trilhado este caminho já no ínicio dos 80 ), cada a qual ao seu modo, retomaram elementos da psicodelia dos anos 60 ( o refrão da música do Hendrix, If 6 Was 9, foi mote de várias associações da década de 90 com a de 60, e foi fetejado como uma predição os anos 90 seriam os novos 60 diriram alguns ) e transmutaram em algo muito mais "lisérgico" em certos aspectos, movidos à ecstasy e outras coisitas mais ( cabe aqui um aparte: sem nenhuma apologia à tais artefatos alucinógenos ou artíficios químicos que em tese transportam para "outras dimensões", vale lembrar que tal prática inclusive ceifou diversas jovens cabeças vitimadas por ataques cardíacos fulminantes entre outros males, ou seja, o custo é altíssimo com benefícios muito efêmeros e duvidosos ) À partir desta tendência "sessentista" saíram grandes nomes que merecem ser ouvidos: Chapterhouse*, Primal Scream*, Spiritualized*, Spacemen 3*, Stone Roses*, Charlatans*, Inspiral Carpets*, Happy Mondays* entre tantos outros( aliás reproduzirei aqui apenas algumas letras e alguns vídeos à mais já que a lista de bandas é bem grande ) interessante são os rótulos utilizados para tentar "por no mesmo saco" banda um tanto quanto díspars, shoegazer ,neo hippies, new psicodelic ou seja como quiser chamar o que importa é que o som é bom ... enfim tirem suas conclusões ou façam como eu sem teorizar demais apenas apreciem por que hoje é sexta feira e um pouco de lisergia musical não faz mal a ninguém....
